Do you feel like you need to get things perfect?
Hello Perfection.
Do you feel like you need to get things perfect? Have things perfect? Do you scroll through IG and think - my birthday, ring, baby, man, body, food needs to look like that. I need to do things right. Get it right. Perfection.

Ever feel that way? I totally get it.

I've been trying to plan the ultimate, perfect birthday for my bestie Scottie. I have a specific vision of what I want it to look like, what I want it to feel like but making the decisions lately has been exhausting and honestly not fun. (And I ❤️ planning)

Then I realized something.
I’m holding on wayyyyy too tight to the end result. The perfect vision and not allowing it to unfold. I’m not having fun!!! This is supposed to be fun. Life is supposed to be fun! My bestie’s bday is the weekend!
It’s okay to not get things perfect, to not have the vision you hold so tightly not come true in every single aspect. Because what I realized is...
I need to let go.
Have fun.
Hold the images but then LET GO.

Let the universe take over. And have fun.
Perfection doesn’t exist - being right doesn’t exist (that’s another post)
Hold the visions of your dreams, events, partner, kids, houses in your head. In your mind but then let it go. Take actions and I promise you’ll be lead in the right directions.
I’m not perfect. I’ll never be perfect (that’s so boring)
So it’s time to have some fun. We just finished with the best bday brunch for Scottie’s bday. Andddd it went better than what I planned. ♥️ I love you all.
xx A
